As people and operations manager, Jo’s one of our biggest assets. She worked as a primary school teacher in Brighton before making a career change into the digital marketing world. After joining us at the start of 2018 as office manager, Jo now seamlessly oversees all things people at Propellernet.

“The thing I love most about my role is the future-focussed element of it. I’m always looking to iterate, whether that’s improving our team’s learning and development, our benefits, our wellbeing or our impact on the environment.”

Besides people, Jo loves the mountains. “There is nothing like dramatic scenery to put your life into perspective. My personal faves are the gorgeous peaks of New Zealand’s South Island.”

Closer to home, she’s started doing cross-stitch. “I find it so calming and enjoyable. I love doing something that isn’t screen-based and slowly seeing the progress from every little stitch, for no specific reason other than the joy of creating it.”
