15th June,2021: We are delighted to share that Propellernet is now a Certified B Corporation™.
Propellernet has always had a distinctive DNA that strives to do good. From looking after our people to supporting charities and giving our time and energy to causes we believe in, our purpose has always gone way beyond the marketing agency we are on paper.
And so, we are writing the next chapter of this story. Our people-first approach to running the business has evolved to include a planet-first purpose.
We hold ourselves to the highest level of accountability and have implemented a framework for decision making that links to a triple bottom line of People, Profit and Planet.
Our radical climate action combined with progressive team management provides what we see as the perfect blend for a thriving business in the 2020s and beyond.
To quote the B Corp mission:
“Certified B Corporations meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability and use business as a force for good.”
In order to achieve certification, we have taken part in a rigorous impact assessment that requires evidence of strong governance, commercial resilience and most of all, demonstrable environmental and social impact. As part of the process, we have updated our Articles of Association – which define the purpose of our business.
We will wear the B Corp badge with pride and use our certification as the start of an exciting journey, supporting brands with purpose and aspiring to be the change-makers of the world’s broken systems. Restoring our climate, reducing inequality and living by values that go way beyond profit.

B Corp™ certification:
The certification is issued by B Lab, the not-for-profit organisation behind the B Corp movement, and covers five key areas: governance, worker, community, environment and customers.
The certification process is rigorous, with applicants required to reach certain benchmark scores while providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, staff compensation, diversity and corporate transparency. To complete the certification, the company then legally embeds its commitment to purpose beyond profit in the company articles.
The B Corp community in the UK represents a broad cross-section of industries and sizes of currently over 500 companies, including well-known brands such as Patagonia, The Body Shop, Finisterre, Innocent, and Kickstarter.
