From German and Spanish to Digital PR, Ben brings an international perspective to every campaign
A degree in German and Spanish led to an internship in Berlin, a year studying in Buenos Aires, and two years teaching English in Swiss high schools. Back in the UK, a stint in translation work made one thing clear: the languages were right, but the creativity wasn’t there. Moving into Digital PR gave him both.
Now part of the International Digital PR team at Propellernet, Ben specialises in pitching, placing and winning coverage across German-speaking markets, while also working on international campaigns that land in countries well beyond his own. What he enjoys most is the combination of creative ideation, data, and the satisfaction of securing a story in a market most people wouldn’t know how to approach.
Outside work, Ben runs, goes to the gym, and travels – often going on city breaks to visit friends abroad. As a teenager he built a Tumblr following of over 500,000 and was making money from paid ads… perhaps a career in digital was always going to happen.
