This hands-on training workshop is designed to give teams a practical understanding of generative AI and how to use it effectively in a business context. Attendees will learn how large language models work, how to use and customise ChatGPT and how to identify and build their own GPTs to streamline tasks and solve real problems. Through live demonstrations, tool share-backs and guided builds, each participant will leave with their own custom GPT and the skills to continue developing AI solutions beyond the session.

Intro to Generative AI
We’ll start with a clear, jargon-free explanation of how large language models like ChatGPT actually work, what they are, what they’re not and why they matter for your business. You’ll learn how these models are trained, how fine-tuning shapes their responses and why they sometimes “hallucinate” or make things up. Most importantly, we’ll explore how to think about AI as a practical tool you can work with, not a thinker or expert to blindly trust.
Exploring ChatGPT and GPTs
Through live demos, you’ll learn how to use ChatGPT more effectively for a variety of tasks, from everyday writing to creative problem-solving. We’ll explore how to adjust its tone and behaviour using built-in settings, and introduce the GPT Builder tool, which lets you create your own custom versions of ChatGPT tailored to your specific needs. No technical background required!
Spotting Use Cases
You’ll see how AI can speed up everyday tasks like writing emails, reports and product copy, as well as summarising complex documents or competitor insights. We’ll show you how to compare different versions of content to spot tone or style changes and use GPTs directly inside tools like spreadsheets. Through interactive exercises, you’ll also identify practical, high-impact ways to apply AI in your own role and workflows.
Build Your Own GPT
You’ll be guided step by step through the GPT builder, learning how to customise its behaviour and tone to suit your needs - no coding required. The session includes a hands-on build where every participant creates their own custom GPT to take away and continue using after the workshop.

Discover the difference between good prompts and bad prompts, and learn how to get engaging, interesting and useful outputs from AI.
Advanced Prompting Techniques
You’ll explore advanced techniques like meta-prompting to get AI’s help writing better prompts, using adversarial personas for critique, and turning AI into a collaborative thought partner through guided questioning.

Depending on your needs, a training session will take two to four hours, using examples relating to the sector you’re in. To get the most from the training, our preference would be in person at your offices or ours, but this can also be delivered remotely.

Who is this training for?
This session is ideal for teams who are curious about AI but unsure where to start. No technical background is required, it’s designed for marketers, strategists, account teams, product leads and more.
Do I need any prior knowledge of AI or ChatGPT?
No. We’ll cover the essentials in simple, clear language. Whether you’re totally new to AI or have dabbled with ChatGPT, you’ll find the session practical and accessible.
How many people can attend?
Up to 12 participants per session. This keeps the group small enough for everyone to get involved and receive individual support during the build session.
What will we leave with?
Each participant will leave with their own custom GPT, a better understanding of how generative AI works and a toolkit of tips and resources to keep learning and experimenting.
Can the session be tailored to our sector or team?
Definitely. We’ll work with you to understand your team’s goals and shape the examples and exercises to make them as relevant and useful as possible.
Is there any follow-up support?
Yes. We’ll provide a takeaway toolkit and (if remote) a recording of the session. You can also add on a follow-up clinic to support ongoing development.
Can the training be delivered remotely?
Yes. We run sessions both in person and via Zoom (or your platform of choice). The content and interactivity are the same either way but our preference would be in person to get the most from the training.
Do we need a paid-for ChatGPT account for this session?
We recommend that each participant has access to a paid ChatGPT Plus account (currently around £20/month) so they can use GPT-4 and the GPT Builder during the session. If that’s not possible, we can adapt parts of the training — just let us know in advance so we can make sure everyone gets the most out of it.
