Part Time Office Manager

We’re looking for an Office Manager to join our award-winning team on a part time basis – ideally 16 hrs pr week, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 4hrs per day from 8:30 – 12:30 on a one year fixed-term contract

Reporting into our Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the regular upkeep of our beautiful office space acting as our front of house and the first point of contact for all office maintenance issues.

About the role:

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:  


Front of House

  • Manage office preparation, opening and filing post, ensuring hot desks are all in working order, ensuring meeting rooms are clear and ready for use.
  • Ordering office stocks like coffee, food, drinks, stationery and equipment as needed
  • Setting up fobs for new starters and managing visitor access including handling front door key cutting/allocation
  • Running New Starter Office Inductions and welcoming guests
  • Being the first port of call for information on the building, including fire safety, emergency info and BringMe (our front door and delivery system).
  • Manage our in-office recycling system (our office is a zero-waste to landfill office)
  • Supporting the team with in-office activities such as booking meeting rooms and pods.
  • Housekeeping: unloading deliveries, tidying cables, unloading drinks into the fridge, unpacking fruit deliveries, taking meter readings and ensuring the office is in great condition for all of our team, clients, and guests


Office Maintenance

  • Act as first line support for any ‘in office’ related issues
  • Support with solving maintenance issues in the Propellernet office
  • Meter readings / onsite readings (e.g. fire panel issue)
  • Raise any office-wide issues to our IT suppliers, ensure they meet SLAs and fix any faults or service issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure our cleaners have the office recycling ready for collection every Tuesday and that they conduct descaling and cleaning of coffee machine weekly
  • Ordering and changing the water dispenser filter
  • Ensuring all rooms are at the right temperature



  • Support the Operations Manager with organising and managing agency events
  • Support with in office events (e.g. client meeting requirements, evening events)


Operations Support

  • Escalate office-wide issues to Operations Manager


Location: Castle Square House, 9 Castle Square, Brighton

Salary: £26-28k per year (pro-rata) plus annual bonus based on hitting company targets.

Conract type: one year fixed-term
