Paid Media Director

Our Media team are looking for a Paid Media Director to join their award-winning team.

About you:
- You have a comprehensive operational knowledge of search, shopping and social channels as a minimum.
- You are a quick learner, and embrace new platforms, features and functionality where they deliver benefit to your clients.
- You are commercially savvy and understand how media performance impacts wider business activity.
- You are a self-starter who takes proactive lead on your client’s activity.
- You are comfortable communicating paid media performance and recommendations to stakeholders of all seniorities and levels of understanding.
- Naturally curious, you’re always looking for ways to improve how we do things.
- Ideally, you have up to date Google Ads and Analytics certifications.
About the role:
- You have day to day responsibility for ensuring your client accounts are meeting objectives across multiple channels.
- You own the performance of your clients’ media channels including account builds, expansion, optimisation and testing and reporting.
- With support from our Strategy team and insight tools, you will lead on developing the strategic direction for clients across multiple media channels, ensuring that activity is planned and executed in the most effective way.
- You will create, monitor and refresh forecasts for all your client activity.
- You will be client facing, owning and building the client relationship, day to day communication; providing incisive actionable insight through regular reporting, ad hoc client calls and face to face meetings.
- You will contribute towards achieving the Paid Media team’s and Propellernet’goals.
- You will contribute to the development of Propellernet’s paid media product to differentiate us in the market, aligning innovation with client needs and industry trends.
- You will communicate in a productive and effective way with your team, your clients and senior stakeholders.
- You will contribute to retention of consultants by providing training/development opportunities and supporting the development of the whole team in monthly anchor days.
- You will work with our other service lines to share data and insights, building a holistic view across all owned marketing activity.
- You will coach consultants and act as an escalation point for clients who need extra support.
- You will support new business, auditing prospect’s activity and producing or presenting pitch material.
- You will contribute to marketing activity by pro-actively identifying case study and award-worthy work, collaborating with the marketing team to write them up.
- You will look after relationships with one or two of our tier 2 advertising partners, from Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Programmatic suppliers.
- As a Director, you will be given responsibility for a key element of the Paid Media teams growth. Likely fields include Innovation, Operations, Team Development, Data Analysis.
Hybrid working with at least one day per week in our Brighton office
We’d like you to work from our Brighton office ideally one day per week, outside of that it’s up to you where you work. Our office is set up with hot desks for anyone who chooses to work there.
You’d be expected to travel to client and team meetings from time to time and to join your team at least once a month in the office for face-to-face training and team anchor days.
Salary: £55k+ (dependent on experience)
