Creative Director


Mark has worked in a number of marketing roles (both in house and agency) since leaving university almost 20 years ago. Since he was a kid, he’s always been passionate about story telling and writing, but it wasn’t until his previous agency (Splendid Communications) that he began to really hone in on the pivotal role creative plays in marketing. After leading on a series of award winning integrated projects that had great creative at the centre of them, he swotted up on SEO as a Propellernet Account Director before moving sideways into a creative strategy role. He might struggle to pick just one, but of his time here at Propellernet he’s proudest of the award-winning 2018 Heartwork campaign for Evans Cycles, which secured impressive coverage results (including BBC Radio 6) and fulfilled a personal ambition of Mark’s to use biometric data to inspire both music and visual art that would tell a story.

Outside of work, Mark runs his own creative project, Beautiful Future, which has so far resulted in several festival activations including Glastonbury and Boomtown, a web series film, a live act, the launch of a spoof corporation with 12 lifestyle brands and a headline TEDx talk.
