September 2009

This month has seen plenty of new business wins for the Propellernet Team, so we've celebrated with a trip to the golf course and played volleyball on the beach. We're a healthy lot you know!

Back in the office we've been enjoying the company of our new summer intern Abbi, and we've found ourselves joining in the debate over the introduction of new Top Level Domains (TLDs). Imagine a world of propellernet.onlinemarketing, propellernet.onlinepr or even propellernet.brighton. Go on, have some fun thinking up your own TLDs.

That's all for now folks, see you next month.

Best Regards,

How PR can keep up with the social media trends?

Abbi Broadbent

Staff Profile

Name: Abbi Broadbent
Role: Marketing Intern

Why are you completing an internship?
I'm constantly being told that when I graduate in 2010 I'll face one of the worst job markets the country has seen; a daunting thought! So I decided to give myself a head start and fill my CV with something other than 'waitress' or 'retail assistant', as well as gain invaluable experience in the 'real world' that students dread so much! Top tip number one for any university newcomer: get valuable work experience BEFORE you graduate!

What is your favourite website or blog and why?
Ooo, it's got to be between www.whatkatiewore.co.uk and www.theuniformproject.com. Both websites are essentially the same: a picture blog of what two different women wear every day, but for the fashion conscious they're a must visit if you've got a spare five minutes.
