Propellernet and Forest Holidays win Performance award at the BIMAs

Last Thursday, Eshe and I headed up to London for the fantastic British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) awards night, which was splendidly topped off with us winning the Performance category for our work with Forest Holidays.

Our campaign ‘Putting Forest Holidays on the Map for UK Holidays’ was shortlisted in the Performance category, which highlighted digital media campaigns that made best use of “PPC, affiliate marketing, SEO and associated tools and techniques”.

As a small (but perfectly formed!) agency we relished being featured alongside some massive brands and campaigns, with other BIMA award winners including OgilvyOne, Razorfish and Channel 4. As the photo proves, we were stunned and delighted to win tour award.

The awards party was extra special as BIMA were celebrating 30 years in the business of rewarding the best of British digital. BIMA gave a nod to the 80s, 90s and 00s in the form of a retro game console room, silent disco, digital art installations and none other than DJ Mr Normski hosting the awards.

The awards made a huge noise on Twitter with the #BIMAawards getting more than two million impressions and trending in the UK that night.

A big thank you to BIMA for a great night! You can find out more about the award winning campaigns in BIMA’s Book of the Night 2014.
