The 4th Travolution Awards took place on Wednesday at The Boiler House at Battersea Power Station (what a stunning location).
The Awards recognise companies, brands and individuals that excel in the fields of online travel distribution, digital marketing and technology so it’s only fitting that we were on hand to pick up the award for Best Use of SEO for the work we’ve done for our client www.to-tuscany.com
Jack Hubbard, our Managing Director, jumped on stage to pick up the award, our third (!) for Best Use of SEO in 2010 following similar victories at the Travel Marketing Awards and the nma Effectiveness Awards earlier this year.
Here’s what the judges said about us:
“The winner in this category stood out for the way it had truly embedded itself within the client’s company, working to gain an intimate understanding of its requirements and, crucially, those of its consumers.
“The entry demonstrated an understanding of the whole customer journey and how it applies to search engine optimisation, putting the consumer at the heart of the process. Judges were particularly impressed by how the agency’s work was helping the client to exploit opportunities to grow the business into new markets.”
Blimey… that sounds impressive doesn’t it?!
What we’re really pleased about is that our blend of technical excellence, compelling and persona-led on-page content and killer creative link development has put our client in prime position online. That’s the most important thing as far as we’re concerned – getting an award is just the icing on the cake.
To quote Jack: “We nailed it!”

Jack receiving the Travolution Award
We also proved that the giving is just as important as the receiving when our Client Services Director, Nikki Winton, took the stage to present the Travolution Achievement Award to Steve Hafner of Kayak fame.
Plus we’d also like to congratulate one of our other travel clients, lowcostholidays, which was named rising brand of the year.
It was a great night. Well done everyone.
