Gavin Willis

Search Consultant

I am currently managing resource at Propellernet, ensuring we are focusing our time and efforts in the right areas, with the aim of getting the best results for our clients. The other side to my role is to assist in planning strategy across all of our clients, putting my commercial awareness, creative flair and analyst skills to good use.

I have worked at Propellernet for almost 3 years now, and my roles within the company have reflected my progression,  whereby I originally started as a PPC Executive, then moving into an Account Management position before becoming less hands on with the delivery work and more focused on client management and commercial discussions. I have since become a Key Client Manager, working on some of the largest clients within the company.

Previous marketing experience included working for a publishing company doing advertising sales and also managing a new business venture in the world of e-learning. I studied Corporate Communications at University which also provided me with some great exposure to the media world, learning about marketing, communication, website design, online media and advertising amongst other disciplines.

Why Propellernet?

Since returning to Brighton from Uni I didn't really want to travel too far, not because I wanted to save money on petrol but because I'm lazy and cherish my sleep (only kidding). On a serious note, Propellernet was a local agency which was great to begin with, and from my very first interview with Jack I loved the ambition of the company and the excellent career development opportunities.

Interests:

I absolutely love football, I play for a county league team on Saturday's and for a top division side on Sundays. If I'm not playing, I'm watching it on TV. Apart from football, I am a seasonal sportsman playing Tennis, golf and green bowls in the summer months and swimming and jogging in the winter months. I also like to play poker on the odd occasion and am renowned for my passion for old skool dance music and the garage classics. Can I hear a re-wind?
